Abstracts

Information for the Posters

Poster Size and Format: 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) — Portrait / Vertical format.

Each poster board will have a designated number. You can find your personal poster board number from the congress website program. Materials to mount the posters will be available at the Poster Info Point onsite.

Preparation Guidelines

  • Your poster should have a Title, Author(s) ‘ names, and Affiliation (to be placed at the top of the poster area; the size of the heading letters should be a minimum of 60 pt).
  • Poster(s) should be readable at a distance of at least 1 meter.
  • The official language for the posters is English.

Recommended Structure

Please structure your poster as follows:

  1. Title, Author(s), Affiliation
  2. Introduction: Background information and the purpose of the study
  3. Results and Discussion: An interpretation of the results and their significance
  4. Conclusions
  5. Acknowledgements and References

* A QR code can be placed on the poster for supplementary materials or contact information.

Poster Sessions

Posters will be located in the main exhibition area. The sessions will be organized over the event dates as follows:

Note: The organizers will remove and dispose of posters that are not removed at the scheduled time! Information regarding the Best Poster Award will be announced during the sessions.

Please note that abstract system and registration sytems are different so you need to sign up seperately for both systems.

Content Guidelines:

  • The official language of the Congress is English. Abstracts should be submitted in English.
  • The title of the abstract must reflect the work.
  • The full names, titles, institutions, and e-mail addresses of all authors must be clearly stated. Contact information of the presenting author (i.e., mailing addresses and telephone) must be added.
  • Abstract template can be downloaded here and must not exceed 1 page.
  • (Submission of abstracts in extended format (proceeding) is also possible; please see below for details.)  It can be submitted via abstract submission system.
  • At least one of the authors named in the abstract must register for the Congress. Only abstracts that are submitted by the authors who have registered for the Congress will be included in the program.
  • Each presenter author is allowed to present a maximum of two abstracts. There is no limit to number of abstracts per person.
  • Each abstract will undergo a peer review process. Based on the submitted abstract, the reviewer(s) will decide if your abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation.

Submitting an Abstract

  • If you are a new user, first you need to “register” to the system before starting abstract submission.
  • Please keep this e-mail until congress date.
  • The submitted abstract can be tracked in the system.

Submitting an Extended Abstract for Proceeding

  • Extended Abstract should have minimum 2 and maximum 3 pages. Please click to see sample.
  • Submit the extended abstract via abstract submission system. (Figures, Tables and Full Text). The abstracts that will be sent via e-mail, will not be accepted.
